I was not fully submerged into the technological world until I discovered Disney's The Lion King. As a child, I was usually quite content to play with my dolls, perform puppet shows, or play kickball games with my neighbors. I never cared for or needed technology. But one day, my mother purchased the movie The Lion King. She brought it home and, on a whim, I decided to watch the movie. Naturally, I fell in love with the film and realized that this new idea of movies could serve to entertain me for hours at a time. I then decided to explore computers, radios, telephones, and other technological goodies. Since then, I realize, I have been living a largely digital world. I completely skipped experience with analogue because I was just never interested. I was never interested in tapes or my old television set with an antenna, but when I realized the beauty of technology, digital goods were already available. For example, my cable television and CD player were very important to me for most of my life. Therefore, I believe my technological experience has been mostly digital.
